Had an awesome time with everybody. Lisa tried to do that namaskar thingie in a humorous way. Its so interesting to learn about foreign cultures and observe the foreigners use our style of greetings etc. Mom was smiling all the while. I loved the food to the core and i guess i'm gonna miss this food for sure. That's why this one deserves a post. Mom's food is always the best one.
May30th: It was party at Yang's place coz he was leaving to China on 31st. He is one awesome cook. He made an awesome Coke chicken, Fish fry (marinated in chinese spices) and momos. I liked the first two. Met this french girl called Gwen who's teaching at alliance and she's promised to teach me french. So time for going back to books and have some fun. Left the party early but with a full stomach of delicacies made in the chinese way!!!
May 31st: Left for Yang's place after jogging early in the morning. Had to pick him up and see him off at the airport. So i went to his place and took him and his chinese frnd to the airport. Met Mahesh and Sandeep at the airport. Had some pics taken. Yang was happy and excited. I felt that one good frnd was leaving, like it happened everytime i went to the airport esp. the international one. Yang presented me with a tennis racket which was given to him for learning tennis. He's learnt it and passed it on to me for learning the game. I guess i'll do it at MDI.
June 1st: Left office early to reach praveen's place for playing cricket. Played for soem time and went to a place called gunghroo. Had some drinks and good discussion about anything and everything under the sun. Had a really good time in the night and returned back home in the rain. Had the car to protect me :).
June 2nd: Went out shopping with mom n dad and bought a pair of Levi's. Had lunch at Zafraan Exotica and returned back home.
June 4th: Came to office really early and had a discussion with riten. Then went ot the colloquim meet and had a really good meeting. Good snacks, great lunch and everthing. was my first corporate lunch (working lunch). Did some really good work that satisfied me. Went to Gwen for my first class today. She was good i guess. Something sinked into my mind and i was able to remember the good ol stuff that was hiding somewhere in my mind. Guess i'm still in that french mood.
